every time i felt touched, or get annoyed, i prefer to keep quiet.
even if you people make a very harsh joke of me, i just pretend i didn't listen it.
even if your action will hurt myself, i will try the best to tolerate with it.
i prefer to cry in my heart than speak it out.
i prefer to forgive and forget.
when i think back, the old me, if i get annoyed, i will speak out, and fight for my own rights.
when i feel touched, i gonna tell you what i feel inside, so you know you're wrong.
but it just the old me.

stop calling me 'budak kecik' and make a joke with that.
stop hurting my feelings.
stop thinking i will be alright all the time.

There are times in this life when you may feel that you are in dark times, but I can assure you that this is not one of those moments. It's alright to feel this way as we are all growing up at different paces; you may encounter or experience things that you may not like just because they are new to you, but don't give in, live through it.
You are no longer a budak kecik because I know you're a sensible and independent woman. Do not shun your emotions from me as I will listen. However, do bear in mind that it's always good to speak up and fight for what you believe. Your opinion always counts.
Lastly, to answer your question, yes, this is one the stages of entering adulthood.
