first week of Fall '11

this conversation really make my day every morning. whenever people stare at me, i feel special >:) dude, kate pergi USA nak jadi better person. jangan jadi bende ni alasan untuk mix with locals and strive in studies. i/allah.

first week of class

start hari isnin, setiap pagi tension sebab kena carik kelas kt mane kt mane. map cyride (bus map) tu memang dh jadi mcm bende wajib bawa pergi mane-mane. the most tension part, walaupun ade map, location building2 tu bukan lah exactly mcm dalam map. and you have to find it by your own. naik bas pagi-pagi *yawning* lagi. kena bangun awal. 45mins before class start dh kena catch up bus.

first day class tu nervous gila lah hehe XD yelah sebab kan masuk kelas sorang2 je malaysian + muslim + pakai tudung kan. mesti lah orang pandang pelik kan. duduk dalam kelas pun mcm seorang2 hari first tu. sobs. haiyo. tapi after several days things become better. some american are really nice and friendly. one time, before class Organic Chem Lab, there was a girl talked to me

that girl: hi! i have seen you before! you're in CHEM151 class, and also FSHN101 class, right? 

me: yup :) hey, of course you can recognize me. im the only one wearing scarf in the big crowd

does it really make sense for you guys? T.T kannnn?

talking about subjects, this sem im taking 14 credit hours. and for EPT (English Placement Test), I actually passed. fyi 80% failed kot =.= memang susah pun test tu. qila passed pun maybe sebab nasib je. lol. tak pun sebab kan saya ade english teacher yang ajar grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary hari-hari >:)

okay so after passed EPT tu kena ambil Eng150: Critical Thinking yada yada.  ya Allah sumpah memang critical habis. at first i didnt know ade class english yang special for international students. so i enrolled je english class yang biase. masuk first day class dah dapat assignment: ANALYSIS POEM! *pengsan* mula-mula tu try lah buat sendiri. lepas tu minta tolong orang lain. try lagi buat. and i spent four freaking hours to finish that assignment! masuk kelas pulak most of them american (and 1-3 je asian kan). tahu jelah american. everytime lecturer tanye any ideas? anyone want to explain? mesti ade je yang active angkat tangan, bagi idea bla bla. and pasal poem tu, they can explain one line to one line. and me? watched them like this

solution: i planned to drop english class. but then tak cukup credit hours pulak. pergi jumpe lecturer lain (international class). try explain kt dia. bla bla bla bla. lastly dapat tukar section for international students class. ALHAMDULILLAH (: God really help me through all problems and obstacles since i came here.

oh ya. i know i didn't update my blog since i came here. busy sikit, biase lah nk start new life kan. so, i replace it with pictures, okay?

if you wonder if i miss Malaysia, the answer is yes. aw lagi 5 hari nak raya kan? kt sini mane lah rase sangat =.= mesti rakyat malaysia sekarang tengah busy buat kuih, test baju raya, isi duet dalam sampul kan. arghh i miss my family. i miss my friends.
